High Speed Photography Test
These are comparitive photographs of a lead and Paragon Z1 pellet exiting a high velocity air-rifle taken at over 100,000 frames per second.
Conventional lead pellet shows distortion leaving the barrel leading to poor accuracy BUT Prometheus pellet suffers little or no distortion therefore retains its accuracy
Aerodynamic Wind Tunnel Test
Lead pellet displays high drag factor giving low down range energy BUT Prometheus pellet flies faster and flatter retaining more of its down range energy
